The Processing Unit (or "blue circuit") is the third tier of circuit, and is used in many late game recipes, mainly for making utility science packs, modules, modular armor and its equipment, the rocket silo and parts for the rocket.

Ratio

The following shows the minimum ratio of assemblers/machines and items required to produce processing units such that all number of assemblers are whole numbers. Items per min is calculated using assembling machine 3 with no modules or beacons and all assemblers running at full speed. The crafting of some intermediate products are not shown (due to the assumption that these items are available in large quantities within the factory). This table was produced using normal recipe difficulty.
