The '''boiler''' is used to convert [[water]] into [[steam]]. When [[fuel]]ed it converts feed water into steam at 165°C, matching the maximum temperature of the [[steam engine]]. Boilers have 2 water connectors, allowing them to pass water through to other adjacent equipment, but only 1 steam connector for output.

The boiler is used to heat [[Liquid]]s (mainly water). When [[Fuel|fueled]] it raises the temperature of water flowing through it. The resulting temperature depends on the speed of the liquid flow. In other words: The longer the water can stay in the boiler, the hotter it will become.
