Ice platforms can be used to replace Aquilo's ammonia ocean with a dense ice float much in the same way that landfill works on other planets, with the caveat that it requires paving with concrete variants in order to support the operation of a vast majority of the game's buildings. Despite the flavor text stating that it "Will melt if exposed to heat", Ice platforms do not actually melt.
