Ice platforms can be used to replace Aquilo's ammonical seas with a dense ice float much in the same way that landfill works on other planets, with the caveat that it requires paving with concrete variants in order to support the operation of a vast majority of the game's buildings.

The recipe for producing ice platforms uses the same inputs as the ammonical separation recipe outputs. However, it consumes those outputs in a different ratio, resulting in a net increase in ammonia. That makes this recipe a possible way to get rid of any excess ice in lieu of recyclers.
