Object description

Space Age expansion exclusive feature.

Jellynut is an edible fruit-like resource harvested from jellystem on Gleba. Its counterpart is yumako; both are essential resources for Gleba production chains and technology progression.

Jellynut can be processed into jelly and jellynut seeds, or it can be consumed by players, granting bonus movement speed.

Jellynut and many of its products spoil and can be used as fuel.

• When consumed, jellynut increases movement speed by 150% for 12 seconds.

Tips

• Agricultural towers can cultivate jellynut trees and harvest jellynut automatically.
• Jellynut has a much longer spoil time than jelly, at 1 hour vs. 4 minutes. Thus, freshness is best preserved by transporting and storing jellynut rather than jelly, then quickly processing both the fruit and its jelly into other products on-site.
• Jellynut has 5 times the fuel value of yumako and 40 times the fuel value of spoilage.
• The only way to obtain quality jellynut is by recycling them with quality modules. Agricultural towers have no module slots, quality seeds do not produce quality fruit, and jelly recycles into itself.
