Copper bacteria is an item that can be harvested from copper stromatolites. It spoils rather quickly, creating copper ore. It is a renewable source of copper, similar to advanced asteroid processing (either through copper ore directly or through Calcite and Molten copper from lava on Vulcanus).

Notes:

• Productivity outputs for bacteria cultivation are 4 bacteria rather than the usual net gain used by catalytic recipes. This means that if you set a Stack inserter's hand size to 4 (and filter it on just bacteria), it will make full stacks of bacteria.
• When produced in a Biochamber one nutrient is also consumed per 4 seconds instead of the power used by assemblers.
