The railgun is a powerful rifle that fires a concentrated beam of energy at its target, with the beam penetrating everything in its path. Railgun ammo is the only type of ammunition it can use. The weapon has a very slow firing rate, but makes up for this with its high damage, meaning the player must make their shots count when facing down hordes of dangerous enemies.

Trivia

The weapon was part of the game's data before Space Age was released, but was not officially part of normal gameplay until the release of the expansion.
