Space Age expansion exclusive feature.
The railgun is a powerful rifle that fires a concentrated beam of energy at its target, with the beam penetrating everything in its path. Railgun ammo is the only type of ammunition it can use. The weapon has a very slow firing rate, but makes up for this with its high damage, meaning the player must make their shots count when facing down hordes of dangerous enemies.

Trivia
- The weapon was part of the game's data before Space Age was released, but was not officially part of normal gameplay until the release of the expansion.
