The Artillery targeting remote is used to manually designate targets for the artillery wagon and artillery turret by clicking somewhere with them - either from the map or normally from the world. They expire when an artillery wagon or turret shoots the spot they designate as a target or after 1 minute. Clicking somewhere with an artillery targeting remote does not use the item up. Using this item massively increases the range of artillery compared to having artillery fire automatically.

This item has no effect if a designated location is too near or far a distance. Note that the possible range of artillery using this item is between 32 to 560 tiles, relative to which artillery weapon is firing.
