A Rail is used for building a track for trains in a Railway network. Unlike Transport belts, rail tracks can be curved and can be placed diagonally as well as horizontally, and vertically.
Optimal time/item usage: 1 Iron stick factory → 2 Rail factories.
As of 0.13, the rail planner can be used to automatically place rails. See the page for more info.
