Rocket parts are items created by a rocket silo. Once enough rocket parts have been created, a rocket is built which can launch materials into space. They are stored within the silo itself, are not accessible to machines or the player and will be lost if the rocket silo is deconstructed.
In the base game, a rocket requires 100 rocket parts, while in Space Age only 50 are required and the cost of each part is significantly reduced. Space Age also adds the pseudo-infinite productivity technology rocket part productivity (research), which effectively makes rocket parts less expensive.
