The deconstruction planner is an item which allows the player to mark entities for removal. Marked entities will be removed by construction robots in construction network range and stored in storage chests.
The deconstruction planner can be used to cancel deconstruction. First, click the deconstruction planner to pick it up. Then, shift+click and highlight the area marked for deconstruction to cancel it. The deconstruction planner can also be used to order robots to pick up items off the ground.
Right-clicking a deconstruction planner will bring up a GUI that allows entities or tiles to be filtered so that they can be excluded from the selection of the deconstruction planner. The filtering can be done in the form of whitelisting or blacklisting. A planner can be created by clicking the ( File:Deconstruction button.png ) button in the shortcut bar.
