The rocket silo technology is the final technology required to win the game. Because the Rocket silo is at the end of a deep research tree, researching it and the techs leading up to it is a significant fraction of the cost of winning the game. To actually finish the rocket, the following additional technologies are needed, which are no prerequisites according to the technology tree:

Note: This does not include the Logistics (research) and Fluid handling (research), but these (although not strictly necessary) are still considered essential to winning the game.

Note that the following information depends on a large part of the game's recipes and hence any version that changes the recipes might affect this data. The following is correct for version 0.15.33. There is a distinction to be made for wether the player decides to use Advanced oil processing or not, the value in brackets is the value without advanced oil processing.

This would also produce an additional 56296(228094) Heavy oil and 248830 (228094) Light oil which go unused. We did not add the cost of advanced oil processing in the calculation.

This also doesn't include any military or advanced logistics tech, products needed for the actual rocket, or production facilities (belts, assemblers, inserters etc.).

Notes

  • In 0.15 the required research was changed massively, researching everything needed to launch a rocket now requires more than trice the iron and copper it took in 0.14.
  • This replaced rocket defense as the game's win condition in Version 0.12
