Object description
Space Age expansion exclusive feature.
Scrap is a resource found on Fulgora
. It needs to be recycled by hand or in the recycler
to get usable products.
When traveling further from the drop location the scrap piles will not get more dense with ore. The most dense scrap piles are found under the Fulgoran vault ruins.
The scrap recycling recipe takes 0.2 seconds per scrap at crafting speed 1.
Recycling a full belt of scrap will (on average) produce a belt that is 60% full, because the percentages of the scrap recycling recipe only add up to 60%.
| Item | Output per scrap | Percentage of total output |
|---|---|---|
| Iron gear wheel | 20% | 33.3% |
| Solid fuel | 7% | 11.7% |
| Concrete | 6% | 10% |
| Ice | 5% | 8.3% |
| Stone | 4% | 6.7% |
| Steel plate | 4% | 6.7% |
| Battery | 4% | 6.7% |
| Copper cable | 3% | 5% |
| Advanced circuit | 3% | 5% |
| Processing unit | 2% | 3.3% |
| Low density structure | 1% | 1.7% |
| Holmium ore | 1% | 1.7% |
| Total | 60% | 100% |
The probability for each resource is rolled independently; it is possible for a single craft to produce multiple resources.
Further recycling of these products allows the player to also obtain the following resources out of scrap:
Recycling cannot undo chemistry, which means that it is not possible to obtain crude/light/heavy oil, petroleum, lubricant, coal or sulfur from scrap.
