Overgrowth soil research allows the player to craft overgrowth jellynut soil and overgrowth yumako soil. These soils allow jellystems and yumako trees to be planted in a much wider variety of areas in the red and green biomes than would otherwise be possible. This allows farms to be much larger without having to find natural soils or wetland tiles.
