Biter eggs can be obtained with a captive biter spawner.

It has a spoil time of 30 minutes, but the eggs do not spoil while inside captive biter spawner. When biter eggs spoil, it spawns a damaged big biter that will act identical to normal biters. Quality biters are also possible with quality eggs.

Biter eggs are one of the two ways of farming nutrients on Nauvis.
