Some units and buildings are marked as Military units or Military buildings and are high priority targets for enemy forces. They will be attacked on sight by:

Military buildings, but not units, will also be attacked by artillery turrets and artillery wagons.

Modding

Military units and buildings are identified by a hard coded flag on certain prototypes. This cannot be changed by modding. The military prototypes are listed in the table below.
