Biter eggs are an ingredient used in a number of recipes, including the promethium science pack. They are produced in a captive biter spawner.

The biter egg has a spoil time of 30 minutes, but the eggs do not spoil while inside a captive biter spawner. When a biter egg spoils, it spawns a damaged big biter that will act identical to normal biters. Quality biters are spawned by quality eggs.

Biter eggs are one of the two ways of farming nutrients on Nauvis.
