Stromatolites are part of the natural terrain generation on Gleba. They act as a source of basic resources and bacteria. They are a rocky formation created by iron or copper bacteria, and can be mined for resources.

There are two types of stromatolites: iron and copper stromatolites. Both yield resources, respective iron or copper bacteria and stone.
