Fluid handling is a technology that gives the player access to more advanced ways to interact with liquids, mainly pumps and storage tanks. But it also enables barrels and the ability to fill and empty them, providing a way to transport liquids long distances via belts or cargo wagons. It is also a prerequisite for Fluid wagon, another way to transport liquids on rail network.
