Space Age expansion exclusive feature.
Recycling unlocks the recycler as well as the ability to recycle scrap. It’s unlocked by breaking the Fulgoran vault ruin, which is usually located near big scrap patches.
Recycling is made available by the Quality mod, which is part of the Space Age expansion, but can be enabled without the Space Age mod. In this case it has different prerequisites and is researched like any other tech, and recyclers can be crafted on Nauvis.
