Ice platforms can be used to replace Aquilo's ammonia ocean with a dense ice float much in the same way that landfill works on other planets, with the caveat that it requires paving with concrete variants in order to support the operation of a vast majority of the game's buildings. If a heated heat pipe is placed next to an un-insulated ice platform, it will melt.
