Ashland trees are part of the natural terrain generation in Vulcanus, acting as a source of carbon. They are trees with all the water and nutrients burned out of it, due to the harshly high temperatures of the planet, leaving only a twisted, leafless form of carbon behind. Some ashland trees encountered are on fire.
