Thrusters are components of space platforms that propel the platforms through space, and to other planets. Thrusters require both thruster fuel and thruster oxidizer to function. Since platforms can only be propelled to the north of the screen, thrusters can only be built on the bottom end of a space platform. Once thrusters are active, asteroids will be encountered more frequently as the platform flies through space, meaning that the player should create proper defenses beforehand.
