Most basic and only inserter using a burning Fuel and not electricity. They are also slower than other inserters. They are most useful for powering up boilers as it provides a safety net for restoring power faster, should the supplies run out at some point.
Since v0.10.0 it will use items with Fuel value into itself. This makes the burner-inserter perfect as usage for
- automatic loading Gun turrets (one belt-lane is loaded by magazines, the other with coal)
- for filling the burners of your steam-engine setup. They will not stop working, if your power fails.
