A [[Types/string|string]]. This is used by [[Types/StyleSpecification|StyleSpecification]] to set whether a GUI element can be stretched and/or squashed. The possible values are listed below.
== "on" ==
Stretching/squashing is enabled.
== "off" ==
Stretching/squashing is disabled even when the container contains stretchable/squashable elements.
== "auto" ==
Stretching/squashing depends on the contents of the layout, for example a flow with stretchable element gets stretchable.
== "stretch_and_expand" ==
Used only for stretchable (not squashable) properties on scroll panes, labels, checkboxes and radiobuttons.
The element this is set on expands its size to maximum and is stretched at the same time. This means the element takes up its maximum size even before its contents require it.
