: I think this is more a question for the subreddit or Discord than for a Wiki. We just collate information and explain how it works. However, active provider chests don't have to be configured. You ''could'' make a requester that requests nothing and trashes unrequested. Or you could just use an active provider, and you can't forget to set it up appropriately. And when you look at your base later, you won't have to wonder what it means for that chest to be there. [[User:Alfonse|Alfonse]] ([[User talk:Alfonse|talk]]) 01:47, 17 November 2024 (UTC)

Active provider chests

Is there any point to active provider chests now that buffer chests and requester chests have a "trash unrequested" option? Systemparadox (talk) 00:36, 17 November 2024 (UTC)

I think this is more a question for the subreddit or Discord than for a Wiki. We just collate information and explain how it works. However, active provider chests don't have to be configured. You could make a requester that requests nothing and trashes unrequested. Or you could just use an active provider, and you can't forget to set it up appropriately. And when you look at your base later, you won't have to wonder what it means for that chest to be there. Alfonse (talk) 01:47, 17 November 2024 (UTC)
