Active provider chests
Is there any point to active provider chests now that buffer chests and requester chests have a "trash unrequested" option? Systemparadox (talk) 00:36, 17 November 2024 (UTC)
- I think this is more a question for the subreddit or Discord than for a Wiki. We just collate information and explain how it works. However, active provider chests don't have to be configured. You could make a requester that requests nothing and trashes unrequested. Or you could just use an active provider, and you can't forget to set it up appropriately. And when you look at your base later, you won't have to wonder what it means for that chest to be there. Alfonse (talk) 01:47, 17 November 2024 (UTC)
Priority of cargo landing pad and rocket silo
I've added these entities to the list of entities that interact with the logistic network, with the appropriate SA tags. I haven't added them to the priority section because I don't know where they fall in the priority list. Do we know this? I would guess they are like passive providers and requesters respectively. - Now that I think about it, the same question goes for trash slots in other entities that have them (requester, buffer, vehicles, rocket silo). Presumably they're the same as player trash. Thrawcheld (talk) 03:55, 10 March 2025 (UTC)
