I don't see what there is to gain by deleting this page. It's been on the WIKI since 2013 as a reference for people in the community. as the wiki to this day has not been declared as a "just info directly from the game" wiki (unless I've missed something) i don't see any gain by removing it. -ACryInShame
Hello there, it's about the 0.16 changelog : https://wiki.factorio.com/Version_history/0.16.0

: Hey there, the reason why the decision was made to delete Let's play is because it was:
I was about to do it then i read <<Please don't waste your time updating this page, User:Gangsir can do it automatically. If he forgets to do it, please message him about it.>>
* Horribly out of date, with multiple let's plays not updated/marked as concluded/currently in existence
* Used purely by many users only to advertise, they often make one contribution; to that page, then are never seen again.
* Overall low quality/setup of the page.
* Unnecessary, due to the fact that a simple google/youtube search will result in plenty of videos to watch, without needing to keep a list.

I don't see a reason for the page to exist. All it does is serve as an advertising location. This was not only my decision, though. I asked the other admin as well, and he agreed that it was an eyesore. So, it has been removed. If you really feel it should be kept, someone will need to clean it up, and then it will be protected as an archive, to prevent bullet point number 2.
This is the message about it. --762x51mm (talk) 13:42, 23 March 2018 (UTC)
: I've been talking with Mishka, an employee of Wube, and we've been working out a clean-up and organisation plan. In that plan, we've decided to make a few changes, and one of those changes is to limit the amount of non-game related content on the wiki. Pages like the lua subpages are also candidates to be removed. That's another reason Let's play had to go. If you have any further questions or concerns, please let me know. :) --Gangsir (talk) 21:20, 8 November 2016 (UTC)

I'm glad I can be of help. I've been using this wike for some time now, and I'd like to give something back to the community. Thanks for the warm welcome and for recognizing me for what I've done so far.

I will continue implementing the new navigation as well as I can.

I do have one question. When should the "minor edit" be ticked? Do you have a guideline?

I think this page sits along side the current tutorial. There should probably be links from one to the other, but although they are both trying to teach about circuit-networks they are using a completely different approach.
:They are grouped because the template doesn't allow an unlimited amount of groups. Which ones are grouped is depends on how many subversions each version has and groups a maximum of 3 major versions together. -- Bilka (talk) - Admin 18:54, 28 March 2018 (UTC)

VersionNav template

Hi,

In Template:VersionNav, is there a reason some versions are grouped together (f.e. 0.14-0.15) while other aren't? The current scheme seems quite arbitrary. Spyhawk (talk) 19:53, 26 March 2018 (UTC)

They are grouped because the template doesn't allow an unlimited amount of groups. Which ones are grouped is depends on how many subversions each version has and groups a maximum of 3 major versions together. -- Bilka (talk) - Admin 18:54, 28 March 2018 (UTC)
I see, this makes sense. Thank you for the explanation! Spyhawk (talk) 18:58, 28 March 2018 (UTC)
