Hi,
Hi,

Can you explain me why you had suppress the template {{t|To be completed/fr}}? The creation of this template was agreed with [[User:TheWombatGuru]] has you can see in my [[User talk:Mgiraud|talk page]]. [[User:Mgiraud|Mgiraud]] ([[User talk:Mgiraud|talk]]) 06:05, 2 September 2016 (UTC)

:Hello,

:What I was actually suggesting was creating {{T|To be completed}} through {{T|Translation}}, not creating a new template, but I might have needed to bee clearer. So our vision is that these kind of templates are gonna work just like templates like {{T|EquipNav}} or {{T|Infobox}} [[User:TheWombatGuru|TheWombatGuru]] ([[User talk:TheWombatGuru|talk]]) - <b>Factorio wiki administrator</b> 12:44, 2 September 2016 (UTC)

:: Plus, there's not really even a need to have "to be completed" templates, as pages that don't exist for a language are ''yet to be completed.'' There's no need to make a category for it. --[[User:Gangsir|Gangsir]] ([[User talk:Gangsir|talk]]) 20:33, 2 September 2016 (UTC)
::: Sorry but if I had created this template it's because I think it covers a need. You are probably, as I am, a contributor in Wikipedia and know the concept of Quality scale. The method used in Wikipedia is IMO to complex for us as there are not so many contributors here. But need remains. I would like to be able to make a difference between a Stub (Very limited contents, e.g. Short description and Infobox), a Good start (The article can stay like that but has To be completed later, for example no time to translate everything or some things seem to be not relevant anymore), and a Good article (which can always been improved). For Stubs we have a template {{t|Stub}} and a Category: <nowiki>[[Category:Stubs]]</nowiki> with language oriented subcategories. I have a need to retrieve the "Good start" articles as well, in a dedicated category to better organize the job.
::: E.g. if you compare two articles tagged as Stubs : [[Types/InventorySize]] and [[Inserter capacity bonus (research)]] the first one is clearly a stub but the second one is not. [[User:Mgiraud|Mgiraud]] ([[User talk:Mgiraud|talk]]) 05:20, 3 September 2016 (UTC)

:::: I have a different idea. I've been working on a template that could be used on pages that are bigger than stubs, but still not fully written. It's more general purpose, and would simplify things instead of us creating a large amount of templates. It's called construction, and you can see it [https://wiki.factorio.com/index.php?title=User:Gangsir/sandbox here]. Let me know what you think of it. I think it'll work for the purpose you're describing. Me and Wombat could also set it up to automatically translate so you can use it on french pages if you want. --[[User:Gangsir|Gangsir]] ([[User talk:Gangsir|talk]]) 13:08, 3 September 2016 (UTC)
:: I see, this makes sense. Thank you for the explanation! [[User:Spyhawk|Spyhawk]] ([[User talk:Spyhawk|talk]]) 18:58, 28 March 2018 (UTC)

VersionNav template

Hi,

In Template:VersionNav, is there a reason some versions are grouped together (f.e. 0.14-0.15) while other aren't? The current scheme seems quite arbitrary. Spyhawk (talk) 19:53, 26 March 2018 (UTC)

They are grouped because the template doesn't allow an unlimited amount of groups. Which ones are grouped is depends on how many subversions each version has and groups a maximum of 3 major versions together. -- Bilka (talk) - Admin 18:54, 28 March 2018 (UTC)
I see, this makes sense. Thank you for the explanation! Spyhawk (talk) 18:58, 28 March 2018 (UTC)
