I run the IT Support department at a medium sized university (Herzing). I have a two decade IT career at ISPs and Universities.
In 2009 my addiction to WoW was broken by a small indie game you may have heard of... Minecraft. My favorite thing to do in Minecraft was set up automated factories to process my materials using mods like Buildcraft, Thermal Expansion, and Applied Energistics.
Then last year I found another small indie game. The core gameplay of this game was **exactly** my favorite thing to do in Minecraft. Awesome. And the rest is history.
