Rocks are part of the natural terrain generation. They act as obstacles to the player's factory, and movement. Removing rocks can be done by mining them up, or destroying them with munitions. When mined, rocks will yield some amount of stone, but will yield less when destroyed.

Rocks will damage vehicles that run into them, as they are difficult to destroy with impact damage, due to their large amount of health.
