Designs for the very beginning of the game. No electricity, no techs.
The Coal Auto-Feeder
Factorio version: 0.11.03
Pros:
This design allows two Burner Miners to run with no maintenance, except the manual collecting of the coal.
Cons:
The main downside is the limited buffer inventory, that results in the system jamming if left for too long untended.
However at such an early stage of the game the players will need "coal refills" at much shorter intervals, unless the early resource fields are impossibly distant.
