Hey Gunmaker, I'm one of the active admins on this wiki. I saw that you requested a new section on the main page. Currently a mod list will not be added to the wiki; the [https://mods.factorio.com/ mod portal] is the central place to list mods. Please link the page that you want edit permissions for and specify what you want to add to it. --[[User:Bilka|Bilka]] ([[User talk:Bilka|talk]]) 15:40, 19 April 2017 (UTC) | Hey Gunmaker, I'm one of the active admins on this wiki. Hey there Gunmaker, I'm an admin on this wiki, I've noticed you've been talking with Bilka, another admin. I figured I'd explain a bit further what Bilka said. A long time ago, before Bilka was an admin, the other admin and me decided to completely purge all mod related content off of the wiki. This was due to many reasons, the most prominent being the introduction of the mod portal, where information and mod downloads could be found in a centralized place; another cause was numerous issues like broken image links and general lack of quality information that was a result of hosting mod related documentation. This decision was endorsed by Wube, who agreed in that the Factorio wiki should host only information directly related to Factorio, and not user created content. Thus, the purge was made. Currently, we redirect all users who are looking for mod documentation to the mod portal, and to the forums (the links for which can be found on the sidebar), where documentation is often provided by the developers of the mod, or community. ''We do not host mod documentation here, excluding information about making mods.''. We apologize if there was any ambiguity that arose from this, and the initial confusion. We of the Factorio Wiki administration team appreciate your concern. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask myself or Bilka. Your request of a change to the main page and edit permissions
Hey Gunmaker, I'm one of the active admins on this wiki. I saw that you requested a new section on the main page. Currently a mod list will not be added to the wiki; the mod portal is the central place to list mods. Concerning mod content on the wiki
We do not host mod documentation here, excluding information about making mods.. We apologize if there was any ambiguity that arose from this, and the initial confusion. We of the Factorio Wiki administration team appreciate your concern. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask myself or Bilka.
