Is it possible to make the listed code coloured? I tend to write explanations in comments in the source files. That works well when source is viewed with editor software, but not in <nowiki><pre></pre></nowiki> environment on the wiki.

: Ah, I noticed that too. Unfortunately, that would require a plugin installed into the software that runs the wiki, as Mediawiki doesn't have native support for highlighting code. You could always email Wube about it if you feel it's really necessary. --([[User:Gangsir|Gangsir]]) ([[User talk:Gangsir|talk]]) - <span style="color:#FF0000">Admin</span> 18:28, 10 February 2017 (UTC)

===I'm so done===
There will not be any major contribution to this tutorial by me now. Can it be listed somewhere now?

Welcome to factorio! We hope you will contribute much and well. You will probably want to read the help pages. Again, welcome and have fun! Kovarex (talk) 08:47, 10 January 2015 (CET)

Updating the mod tutorial

Hey there, noticed that you were updating the modding tutorial on the Wiki, I wanted to thank you for that. I'd also like to ask how close you are to finishing it, as I'd like to let the community know that it has been updated. Thanks, --Gangsir (talk) 21:57, 7 February 2017 (UTC)

Is this thing on?

Hi, you're reading this, right? I'm not that used this wiki function. Yes, I've seen quite a bit of identical questions on the forums recently, and complaints of lack of tutorial.

In its current state, following the tutorial does result in a working mod. So I don't have anything to add to the chapters that already exist. I'd want to add a few more things on the topics less talked but it seemed to me that I've reached a certain checkpoint that allows to show it to people. I've recently made a thread about the tutorial: https://forums.factorio.com/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=40968 I'm both more used to and more available on the forums, so if you wish to give an input on the matter, feel free to drop by there.

Code format

Is it possible to make the listed code coloured? I tend to write explanations in comments in the source files. That works well when source is viewed with editor software, but not in <pre></pre> environment on the wiki.
