The flamethrower is an advanced weapon best used against hordes of enemies or trees. It has a decent damage and also an area of effect damaging multiple Enemies at once. It requires Flamethrower ammo to function.

The flames thrown will land exactly where the mouse cursor is pointing if in range. This means that you can precision-track over all the permanent structures in a Biter base, and the flames' damage-over-time will destroy them.
