; Sorry, I thought I should mention this : the comparison between the tiers of module, and the main modules page, both depend on which value is correct. Please make sure that all mentions of speed modules are consistent when someone verifies the value.

Increases a machine's speed by 40% and its energy consumption by 70%. The machine will consume more energy per second, but will also work more quickly. Because energy costs are based on time rather than number of operations, some of the increased energy cost is offset by the reduced time per operation.

Machine speed and energy consumption are increased by 20% compared to tier 1 modules and by 10% percent compared to tier 2 modules.
