The Roboport is the home for all [[Robots]]. It also spawns an area of 50x50 , in which the robots can fly.

* The '''orange''' square represents the reach of logistics network where logistics robots can move.
* The '''green''' square represents the extent of construction network where construction robots can repair, construct or remove structures.

Roboports have also 4 chargers, which are used to recharge the flying bots.

Two or more roboports can build a [[Robotic network]], if the borders of the covered areas connect.

== Inbuild stacks ==

A Roboport contains 8 [[Storages/Stack]]s, reserved for [[Robots]], and another 8 for [[Repair pack]]s.

== Power usage ==
The Roboport needs ~200 kW of energy when idle, but can use up to ~2 MW when charging bots.

== Unuseable knowledge ==
You can insert robots and repair-packs into the port with an inserter, but since there is currently no control about the inserted number, this is unuseable knowledge.

Most recipes that either require or provide a fluid other than crude oil is produced here. The chemical plant has 2 inputs and 2 outputs (once again - can't modify them). Solid items are both inserted and removed by [[Inserters]] from any point (no need to target fluid input/output slots).

Processes [[Heavy Oil]] into [[Lubricant]] (requirement for [[Electric engine unit]]), make [[Sulfur]], [[Sulfuric Acid]], [[Plastic bar]] (requirement for [[Processing Unit]]s), [[Battery]] and turn any Oil byproducts into [[Solid fuel]] (See [[Fuel]] to compare that with other types), and also crack oil byproducts into lighter oil byproducts.
