Well, uh... yeah sorry about all of that but there was already a file named Grass biome.png on the wiki page, what could that lead too? also I found a source on this website that led me to believe there is biomes in-game:

: 1. You are on your own talk page, not mine. 2. [[AutoplaceSheets]] is 4 years old and predictably wrong, as obvious by the big "deletion request" template at the top of the page. 3. Even if someone calls the different terrain types in Factorio "biomes", that doesn't mean that we need files by that name. Nomenclature matters. I recommend you to read the rules about page creation and create pages accordingly — create pages ''first'' in your userspace, then someone can tell you if the info is correct and useful before the page is moved into the main wiki. Hello, I am Maulr... I play Factorio a lot and am using the 17.52 experimental version. I saw that a lot of pages about Factorio that are wanted can be easily filled. So I wanted to help out a bit and fill in those extra pages wanted. Other than that I am just here to look at all the wiki pages and stuff. :)

== Overview ==

Factorio includes a fully featured map editor. You can access it by selecting "Map editor" on the Factorio main menu, or by using the console command: "/editor" in game.

The editor allows the player full creative control and one can create a map with as much or as little resources as they wish. Movement uses the same controls as you have in game but no player appears, similar to the sandbox scenario.

== Loading a Map From a Game ==

Scenarios can be created from pre-existing maps by using the <code>--map2scenario</code> runtime parameter along with the save to use when running the game from command line. For more info on runtime parameters, see [[Console#Command_line_parameters]].

== Saving your Scenario ==

Maps created with the map editor are saved as [[Scenario system|Scenarios]] via the in-game escape menu. These scenarios are saved to the [[Application directory|User data directory]]. The scenario may then be played from selecting Play->Custom Scenario from the Main Menu. When saved and loaded, the game will load the map that was created by the map editor. If one wishes to add scripting to the scenario, they may do so by modifying the control.lua file created inside the scenario file.

== Placing Entities ==

To place an entity (labs, powerlines, transport belts, mining drills, etc...), select "Entities" from your toolbox, select a tool, select what you want to place down, then click somewhere to place that item down.

You have three tools.
=== Cursor ===

Appropriate for most situations. Places one of the selected entity at the current cursors position. Much like the normal in-game mechanics.

=== Spray ===

Good for resource piles and trees. You can select a size, intensity and speed, the larger the size, the more area that the spray places entities, the higher the intensity, the more often entities get placed, the higher the speed, the more rapidly the spray continues spraying while holding down the left mouse button.

=== Paintbrush ===

The paintbrush is virtually the same as the spray, only difference is that if you hold down the mouse button, the tool won't continue to place entities. Also good for resource piles and trees. Whether you use spray or paintbrush is personal preference, but for rapid controlled placement of resources and other items the Spray option is the best choice.

== Removing Items ==
To delete items that you've placed, just like when placing entities, press "X" on your keyboard while hovering over the item you want to delete. The spray option is the fastest method for deleting items (you need to make sure you have intensity and speed at the maximum setting, and adjust size for the area you wish to clear). On the largest Size setting you can clear all items of one type fairly quickly using this method.

== Placing Items Inside Chests (and other entities) ==

Press Q to deselect everything you currently hold in hand. After that left click on an entity to open its inventory. Now you can place items in that inventory. Based on your game settings you might need to use another event, see in the game-options.

The '''tank''' is a heavy armored fighting vehicle. It is a mid-game vehicle with three weapons; an integrated [[submachine gun]], a short range flamethrower and a powerful cannon that uses [[cannon shell]]s. It, along with the [[car]], are the two non-rail vehicles in Factorio. In multiplayer, it is possible for a [[player]] to enter a tank alongside another player. The passenger can take control of the weapons of the tank using a switch in the GUI of the tank, but cannot steer the tank.

Since engine units can only be built in assembling machines, tanks (like [[car]]s) cannot be built from scratch by hand from their raw materials. If the tank is destroyed, its inventory is destroyed with it, though the player gets ejected and not killed. Tanks will change color based on the color of the player who drove it last.

==Combat==
The tank is a strong fighting vehicle due to its large health pool and the very high damage of its main weapon, the cannon. Additionally, due to the ability to employ drones from within the vehicle, it can be used as a form of drone or capsule transport vehicle, with the player simply using capsules to fight their battles. The tank particularly shines in battle against [[Enemies|Worms]], as their unavoidable projectiles are much less of a problem for an entity with a high health pool.

The tank lags behind in speed, however, compared to the player and the car. As a result, it may not perform as well in combat against melee enemies or enemies with shorter range than the player, as it has more difficulty dodging enemies. This may result in the tank being destroyed quickly, leaving the player in a tight spot.

It is possible to use throwable items such as grenades, poisons, and follower robots while riding in the tank. This makes it possible to perform drive-by attacks on large bases with a reasonable area of effect. Since grenades and tank are available fairly early in the game this enables an effective means of early game expansion before the better known turret creep strategy becomes viable.

==Movement==
The tank is very robust, and unlike the car can move through and destroy [[tree]]s without taking damage. Even when not moving, simply driving into an entity is enough to damage it. This can also be employed as a weapon against [[enemies]], although certain enemies and structures (nests in particular) will deal high damage to the tank in the process, requiring repair after skirmishes.

The tank is slower than the car and can be rotated in place while standing still, unlike the car.

The speed and, in particular, responsiveness of the tank can be improved somewhat by burning better [[fuel]]: The tank, like all other vehicles, gains top speed and acceleration bonuses when running on solid fuel, rocket fuel and nuclear fuel, as opposed to wood or coal. The bonuses are +5% / +15% / +15% top speed and +20% / +80% / +150% acceleration for solid fuel, rocket fuel and nuclear fuel, respectively; wood (and wood products - see [[Fuel]]) and coal both yield the base level of top speed and acceleration.
