The fusion power cell is used by a fusion reactor to generate electricity. It is unlocked at Aquilo, and may only be produced there due to it requiring ammonia, which may not be barreled and is exclusive to Aquilo.

Unlike the uranium fuel cell, fusion power cells are consumed at a dynamic speed based on the grid's demand, meaning that the circuit network is not needed to prevent wasting cells. In addition, they last 400 seconds at max consumption, allowing continuous power generation for a long time. Fusion power cells used exclusively in the fusion reactor and cannot be used as a fuel in burner devices or vehicles.

(1) For the purposes of in-game speed display, the game assumes 1 tile = 1 meter. I.e., a train on basic fuel travels at 72 tiles per second at full speed, and so on.

(2) This assumes all crude oil is processed completely into solid fuel using advanced oil processing and heavy oil cracking as intermediate steps, but not light oil cracking. More efficient methods are possible; in practice, the petroleum gas is more likely to be used for something other than solid fuel.

(3) Using coal liquefaction and heavy oil cracking, converting all light oil and petroleum gas into solid fuel. Does not include energy requirements of refining/mining.

(4) This assumes the "cost" is what you would have gained if you planted the seeds and harvested the grown plant, i.e. 50 yumako or jellynut.

(5) Fuel value per raw for spoilage varies a lot on the item spoiled and if they were made using the biochamber's 50% base productivity. 250 kJ assumes spoilage directly from yumako or jellynut crops. This is can go as high as about 2.43 MJ per crop using nutrients from bioflux (60 nutrients from 4.16 yumako and 1.66 jellynuts with 3.21 nutrients spent running biochambers).

Other fuel types
(1) Thruster fuel and oxidizer have a fuel value but technically do not have a fuel type. Since they can only be consumed by thrusters which require specific fluids, they are effectively their own fuel types.

Consumption
The following formula can be used to find how long a fuel will last in a device:
<code>Burn time (s) = Fuel value (MJ) ÷ Energy consumption (MW)</code>

Trivia
* Though the top speeds given by solid fuel, rocket fuel and nuclear fuel are presented as +5%, +15% and +15% respectively, this seems to only be true for trains. The top speeds for cars and tanks are instead approximately +9.5%, +34% and +58% respectively when these fuels are used.
Natural resources
In terms of directly exploitable natural resources, Aquilo has:
* Ammoniacal solutionSA
* Lithium brineSA
* FluorineSA
* Crude oil

With crude oil being the only non-exclusive resource to Aquilo, excluding ice obtained from Lithium Ice Formation.

Stone, iron and copper (and coal if desired) need to be imported from other planets as Aquilo lacks ways to obtain these from the environment.

Access to basic resources
* Water can be obtained via Ammoniacal solution separation and Ice melting
* Stone is not available and must be shipped in from other planets
* Iron ore is not available and must be shipped in from other planets
* Copper ore is not available and must be shipped in from other planets
* Coal is not available and must be shipped in from other planets
* Crude oil can be obtained using pumpjacks as normal

Mechanics
Freezing
Aquilo is brutally cold. Most entities will freeze and stop working unless heated by a heat pipe in an adjacent tile. Heat can be generated by the nuclear reactor or heating tower. Buildings also cannot be placed on the surface of the iceberg itself; concrete (or its variants) must be placed underneath as an insulator. The harshly low temperature will also make construction robots and logistic robots much weaker, making them consume 5 times more power than normal.

Once a building is attached to an adjacent heat pipe, it will consume heat energy to maintain it's state, reducing the energy (and temperature) in the heat pipe.

Following Entities are immune from freezing:
*Solar panel
*Accumulator
*Heat exchanger
*Heating tower
*Heat pipe
*Small electric pole
*Medium electric pole
*Big electric pole
*Substation
*Cargo landing pad
*Cargo bay

Solar
Aquilo is also far from the sun, and so solar panels only output at 1% of their rate on Nauvis, or 0.6 kW during the day.

Hey there!

Strange question... do you think it'd look nicer if the arrow for showing the internal name and prototype would look better if it was placed underneath the edit link (as in, aligned to the right, and approximately on the same line as the category)? In my opinion, I think it maybe might look better because right now it takes up so much extra space? I know nothing about UX! >.>
Nuclear fuel is a type of fuel. It has the highest energy density and vehicle bonuses of all the fuel types, providing an acceleration modifier of 250% (compared to rocket fuel's 180%). The vehicle top speed modifier (115%) is the same as for rocket fuel.

Nuclear fuel is made from rocket fuel and uranium-235, one of each to produce one unit of nuclear fuel.

Compared to rocket fuel, nuclear fuel not only gives a higher acceleration bonus, but also gives more than twelve times the energy output per item. Combined with a Rocket capacity of 10, this gives nuclear fuel a advantage in Space Age when moving energy from a planet to a platform.

Trivia
* The fuel value of 1.21 GJ is a reference to the Back to the Future franchise, in which the DeLorean uses a nuclear reaction to generate "1.21 Jigawatts" of electricity. Ironically, Emmett Brown specifically refutes the idea that the DeLorean uses nuclear fuel; the energy of the reaction is used to power the flux capacitor that allows time travel, and in Part III he specifies the DeLorean's internal combustion engine has always run on ordinary gasoline.
