Sulfuric Acid is a Liquid that is used to create Batteries and Processing units. It is converted, by the Chemical plant, from Sulfur, Water, and Iron plates.

Optimal Ratio
The optimal ratio for Sulfuric Acid production is two Sulfuric acid Chemical plants for every five Sulfur Chemical plants.

Two Sulfuric acid Chemical plants produce enough Sulfuric acid for 25 Battery Chemical plants, or for 300 Processing unit assemblers (if Assembler 3 is used).
Barrels can be used to store and transport 25 units of Crude oil. Since they are solid objects, they can be used as an alternative to pipes, once Fluid handling is researched. The barrels themselves are reusable once the oil is drained.

Barrels stack in groups of 10. A single Cargo wagon can hold 400 barrels, which gives a capacity of 10,000 Crude oil per Cargo wagon.
Barrels are useful in situations where pipes are not available or a bad option, such as oil production far away from your main factory. Barrels can be transported with a Belt transport system or Railway network, by Logistic robots, via Car or Tank, or in the player's inventory.
