I'm a Physics and Astronomy student with a computer science and graphics background. I take the "nerd" approach to gaming. E.g., I once spent an inordinate amount of time developing a web database that would scrape tons of data from the EVE Online market, and built an algorithm to search for possible arbitrage opportunities to "get rich quick." Needless to say, the 3 months I spent playing the game and building the database was not "quick" in any sense of the term, but was thoroughly enjoyable.
